Wellness Exams We provide a comprehensive physical examination for each patient. We believe that this is the most important service that we provide. We strive to accurately diagnose your pets needs while providing the most acurrent treatment options. Vaccinations Vaccinations are the cornerstone of preventative health care. Our ongoing research allows us to provide the best possible protection for your pet. In addition to core vaccines (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, FVRCP) we offer several options depending on your pet’s situation regarding exposure. Drop Off Service For our busy clients we offer drop off service for most of our procedures. You can drop off your animal on the way to work and pick up on your way home. There is no additional fee for this option. We ask that you leave a contact number for communication purpses and that you call one to two days before you want to drop off. Boarding With so many people traveling these days we feel it is important to offer a safe, reliable, and loving environment for you pet while you are away.
For your pets safe enjoyment we have two large outdoor play yards with privacy fencing. Pets are allowed to exercise time throughout each day. Any medications that your pet is currently taking can be given for a small fee. Medical boarding is available for animals that need to be cage rested or debilitated or need additional care. We ask that you bring your pet's regular food and any toys that they might enjoy during their stay. House Calls House calls are available on a limited basis. There is a trip charge in additon to other procedure fees. House calls should be scheduled well in advance. Surgery We perform a wide array of surgeries at Paws and Claws ranging from non-invasive dentals to complex tumor removals. We routinely use ekg, respiratory moniter, and pulse oximetry to help moniter the anesthesia closely. We also advocate pain relief before and after surgery which has been shown to speed up healing time and decrease complications. We consider no surgery routine and strive to provide our patients with the best surgical and post op care available.
