Why not to give your pet BONES!
This is why we say not to feed your pets bones! The first X-ray shows a piece of a steak bone stuck in a 6 year old Jack Russell’s esophagus! Dr. Hall had to insert a tube to push the piece of bone down into the stomach, as pictured in the second X-ray. This was done so that Dr. Hall could could perform a gastronomy ad remove the bones. “Robin” the Jack Russell is recovering well! Just remember this is why we say DO NOT feed bones to your pets! Your wallet and pet will appreciate it!
